4:30AM Sacramento

Quotes of the morning:

“when my alarm went off I was on a tire swing”-SG

“I could fall asleep standing. Like a horse”-NG

4:30am, Sacramento, on the way to the airport with SG, AF, NG, barely conscious we are. Thanks to Alex Greene and the young blond fellow who helped me balance as I jumped onto the bar last night at Ace of Spades, would have been ugly to fall in those stack-heel boots I was sporting.  It seemed like the thing to do at the time, TH adrenalin coursing through my system, don’t try this at home. Thanks to the crowd at Mystic in Petaluma Monday night, we could feel the love and you pushed us to new heights.  The Fillmore on Saturday, under the chandeliers that have shone on such great music, thanks to Jackie’ community of friends and fans for embracing us. Thanks to Dave Simon-Baker for recording us on Sunday, hopefully there will be some TH tracks for you all to download soon.  It was an intense four days.  Can’t wait til next time to see how far we can take this thing….

Can’t wait to see how far you guys can take it too. The road as hard as it can be is a good place to test things. Let that soul, country, rock n blues swagger marinate and hopefully schedules, time/$ constraints and life in general will give way for a studio album. You guys are some of my fave players and I have a respect for your talents. You compliment one another very well onstage. Oh yeah bring that ish to the Nor’east! Peace.

That was wicked fun last night! You guys rocked! How fun it was to dance ’til I almost dropped…and on a Tuesday Night…man…living the dream right here in Sacramento. Dead Winter Carpenters were fun too, I definately dig their groove. Thanks for getting a good groove going in Sacramento…Happy Trails.

Joan, appreciate the dawn patrol post on way to the Sac airport. Been a longtime fan of both you and JG. Bar walk was over the top Tues. night. Looking forward to hearing some TH tracks recorded Sun.

Saw TH for the first time last night, thanks for an awesome show….yep, the walk along the bar was over the top and fun! I’m telling everyone I know they need to follow TH and go to shows, they will thank me, I know. Safe travels and see you somewhere again soon!

Last night in Sac was great! The part I got to see, anyway. My only regret is that is was a Tuesday, and I had an 8 am dentist appt, and my hubby had to be on the road to SF at 6:30, so we had to skedaddle before you was all through. Next time, come on a weekend, OK? Us over 40-somethings (don’t ask how far over) can’t sit through two supporting acts and catch your whole show on a Tuesday. But you sounded so great! Loved “Animal” and “My Love Is Alive.” What a great little supergroup you are!

Got something to say? Go for it!
