Dear Friends:
I have been asked by Levon Helm’s family to sing at his funeral service Friday. I know many of you are fans of Levon and can understand how honored I am by this request. Unfortunately, there are no flights to get me back to Chattanooga in time for Trigger Hippy’s show tomorrow. While I will not be at Rhythm & Brews Friday night, you will be in the capable hands of Steve, Jackie, Will and Nicky G. They’ll take good care of you.
I apologize to those of you who were hoping to see Trigger Hippy’s full lineup, and I hope you know that only a special circumstance like this would cause me to cancel.
Please send your prayers to Levon’s family. And, Chattanooga I will see you next time we come thru…
